The Boys' Brigade

"A party from Loudoun's Foote visited our Company for an evening, gave talks about the period and the Covenanter soldier's life, demonstrated weaponry and drill, and had our Boys hooked from the outset. After a rapid crash course in pike drill, the Boys were able to handle the pike, form up and manoeuvre. The guys from Loudoun's delivered a professional, engaging, perfectly tailored experience for us and we will definitely be looking to catch up with them again."

Soldiers Of Killiecrankie

"Hi Rab
Thank you very much for another superb weekend, please pass on our thanks to all your team and everyone involved. Your displays were absolutely top notch in every way as usual. I loved the wee cameo displays in the small arena, each added details that the larger shows do not give. Each presentation had been well thought through and very professionally put across.
The battle in the main arena far exceeded my own expectations...The little scenarios that took place throughout the build-up etc. This was by far the largest draw attracting the crowd to sit around the arena waiting for the show to start. Once again a very BIG thank you for all you have done for us.
With our very best wishes,"

Clan MacThomas

"For the first time we had reenactors at the Clan MacThomas International Gathering. They entertained us brilliantly. Their costumes were magnificent, the equipment authentic and the reenactments professional. Everyone had a great time, especially the overseas visitors who were delighted to have the opportunity not only to watch, but to talk and interact with the reenactors as well. They certainly brought our Gathering to a new level. Well done."
